Bathers and their children are protected by life-guards who are on duty throughout the summer.

Unlike some of the resorts one finds at Spain’s Costa Blanca or Costa Brava, Cabo Pino is still very much a retreat, not a concrete jungle that looks like Manchester or Birmingham in the sun.

Cabo Pino, the Pine Cape, honours its name and is still flanked by pine forests and the natural beauty of sand dunes, rock formations and endless beach. Developments have been strictly controlled and not been allowed to spoil the lovely coastline.
