Sotogrande Area Guide

Sotogrande is the largest residential development resort in the whole of Andalucia. The area covers 4,500 acres and is one of the most luxurious areas on the Costa del Sol.

Sotogrande is famously known for its sports and leisure facilities including polo, golf and sailing amongst others. There are 2 world famous polo field within the Santa Maria Polo Club which have seen Royalty from all over the world play here including Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry to name but a few.

Sotogrande is also world famous for its beautiful championship golf courses, Valderrama being the most famous as it held the 1997 Ryder Cup and the 2002 Volvo Masters here.

The San Roque Casino is also in very close proximity to Sotogrande.
